Briguida "Bri" Romero is a Bilingual/Statewide Apprenticeship Implementation Specialist serving Aiken Technical College, Denmark Technical College, and Technical College of the Lowcountry. She began working with Apprenticeship Carolina in November 2023.
Prior to joining Apprenticeship Carolina, Bri worked in higher education as an academic counselor and a registrar at a local college in Columbia, SC.
Originally from Columbia, SC, Bri earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from South University and a Master of Education from Columbia College. In her spare time, Bri enjoys reading and spending quality time with her daughter and family.

What drew you to apprenticeship?
I’ve always been passionate about the idea of hands-on-learning and the real-world application of skills. I’m also drawn to the impact apprenticeships can have on both the individual and the wider community.
What is something that you enjoy or appreciate the most about your job?
I enjoy helping people and am passionate about making a difference in my community and state.
