Meet Brittany Salley

Brittany Salley is an Apprenticeship Consultant serving Central Carolina, Florence-Darlington, and Midlands Technical Colleges. Starting as an Apprenticeship Implementation Specialist in November 2021, she moved into the role of Apprenticeship Consultant in January 2023.

Prior to joining Apprenticeship Carolina, Brittany spent over seven years working within the technical college system. There she held the roles of Admissions Recruiter and Academic/Career counselor. In addition, Brittany has worked in the capacity of sales for corporate firms. Throughout the years, she has fostered relationships and partnered with the community to introduce workforce-based learning in new ways.

Originally from Queens, NY, Brittany relocated to the Pee Dee region in SC to attend college at Francis Marion University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration. She later went on to earn a Master of Organizational Leardership from Webster University. In her downtime, you can find Brittany spending time with her family, binging a Netflix series, or taking a dance class.

Friendly, Innovative, Dedicated

 

What drew you to apprenticeship?

The concept of “Earn While You Learn” is what made apprenticeship so intriguing. Employers are given the opportunity to invest in the individuals within the surrounding community as well as develop a skilled workforce pipeline. 

 

What is something that you enjoy or appreciate the most about your job?

I enjoy making connections with diverse populations as well as assist companies with developing a solution to their workforce needs.
